I have a bone stock 2nd gen talon and I was looking through ebay for IC piping, I have an FMIC already (Turbo XS) and I don't really want to buy expensive piping. I was wondering if the kits on ebay are rerouting kits or just kits that replace the stock pipes. Out of all the ones listed I'm not sure which one would be a straight bolt on talon piping, eBay Motors, Turbos, Nitrous, Superchargers items on eBay.com

I have an FMIC like this

I was told that if I don't get rerouting piping that I would need an FMIC like this

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Look at the turboxs piping that comes with that intercooler on ebay, and look around for all the pipes that are bent and shaped like those ones, but then again, ebay might be too risky for that... Are there any performance shops around where you live?

Im going to agree with you about staying away from ebay with something like that! They alwats use someones elses picture or post a pics of something similar.

There is one that I know of but I made a promise to myself that I wouldn't go back because of very bad customer service and because they were talking shit to me because I wanted the OEM sidemarkers for my car and not the LED ones they had, very unprofessional.

I bought the second intercooler you have shown and a universal piping kit (I ordered different specific pipes though). At first, I thought the t-bolt clamps that came with it were good, but now, I'm starting to break them left and right as I try to tighten them to seal leaks. The couplers are holding fine at 17psi. You will want to get a reducer if you have a T25.

That second intercooler fit good on my 2gb Talon. I have an automatic transmission, so I have the tranny cooler on the drivers side. The route I took isn't that long, but it could have been nicer if I had a welder to do aluminum. It seems to cool very well. The hotside pipe can actually be hot to the touch, but it's much much cooler by the time it get through the cooler. I didn't get a logger until this winter, so I don't have summer temp intake air temps for you.

EDIT: I bought my intercooler and piping from CXRacing.

Hi, I just got a turbo kit and that is excatly the intercooler i have. The piping came with it but I had to get more because it didn't quite fit right, just make sure the piping is bent like it should be in pics of turbo kits and if you need more I picked up a piece of exhaust piping at any exhaust shop, 3" i believe. If that helps. Sorry if it doesn't.

I always bend/weld my own pipes so I don't have to deal with ebay shit. Don't get my wrong, it is still a good place to get certain things. I would try and find a welding shop and do some measurements.

Then again, getting the pipes to fit was the least of my worries. Getting a 5in think intercooler was ROFL

I'm running an ebay kit and works fine for me,you always gonna have to modify the piping no matter what,so just get a little creative.

I have a side-to-side Fmic, like the one you have shown, its massive, but I didn't buy it on ebay, its a full race Fmic. But i did buy a piping kit for the side to side it included t-bolt clamps, silicone connectors and of course the piping, which by the way was 2.5". and included a j-pipe too. Ebay is good for some things, like universal parts, or specific to application parts from private at home sellers that just parted out something.
Good luck
