Ebay FMIC kit for the 2g. Crap or a sweet deal????

How do you go about buying the custom piping for the intercooler???? I never really got how to do that.

XS Power aka SSAUTOCHROME has known to sell bad quality products along with their poor service.. If I was you I would just save my money up and buy a intercooler that has been proven to be a top notch product..

You could always buy it though and be a tester for us and tell us if the quality is any good..

I know that they usually sell crap but I've heard great feedback left by dsm owners (both 1g and 2g) on their fmic kits. It would be a pretty good deal if it really works and the piping is where it's supposed to be.

yeah, it sure would. I wish I could find someone who bought this kit and ask them everything I need to know about this kit.

You could buy an intercooler by itself (there are some decent bar and plate ICs on ebay) and get it piped yourself. It might end up costing you $350-400 in the end for a complete setup, but it will work (more if you go stainless). The piping included in the kits are generally small in diameter, and if you have any problems (which you likely will), there is no technical people to help you out. I would save another few hundred, and buy a kit from AGP or similar, and you could install it yourself. And you KNOW that a kit from a reputable vendor/speed shop is proven, and fully supported.
