I've seen that for a while. Havn't seen any detailed reviews about it from a DSMer. It has very nice features. For those who are looking for EBC, but also want a turbo timer and other features, it SEEMS like a nice all in one solution. The price seems to be fair. Considering the price of EBCs, and turbo timers separately. This unit is nice because it has an aux input for something else like nitrous and ic spray.

It's a space saver too, not having to find places to mount the many electronics.

Of course it all comes down to how does it perform, and unfortunately no one has any personal experience.

Will you be the first?

Why do you say it is suicide? Well that's why I made this post , in order to know if some has tried this BCU+.

Also i think is a good idea to put a turbo timer and a boost controller in one box. It will save space and money.

Cus my original idea was going for hks turbo timer for $100 and a greedy profec B II for $300.

Search XS Power, and you'll see some very mixed results. I think that they were the company that was selling turbos with glued together compressor housings that fell apart after a few miles. Now, its very possible that they've improved their QC, but, like was said before, do you want to be the 1st to find out?

That boost controller has been sold for several years under other names. I have had that same unit in my 3000gt VR4 for almost 2 years now without a problem. The one I have was sold under the brand name PIT BCU+ and was ~$350 from Summit Racing. It uses the same exact boost solenoid as my AEM unit in my GVR4. Not the best looking boost controller but it does what it says it does without a problem.

i dont know, i mean if it fails, whats the worst that could happen?.... blown motor LOL, i would just get a MBC or a greddy one, i have a greddy Profec B Spec II

Guys thank you for all your help, i just ordered a GReddy PRofec-B Spec II Black

:)
