Ebay Blow Off Valves???????

I just bought 2 of the Ebay Greddy type S style B.O.V.s for 40 dollars for both and was wondering if anyone has used them or knows any info on them? SHould i keep them, or toss them?

Super Street said they are shit. They leak, and if you try to turn up the spring, you cause compressor surge so fast it hurts.

A friend of mine said that they start to leak after a while, i thought about putting one on my Talon cause its my daily driver but after all i have heard i dont know now.

There's only two possibilities: they're fine, or, they're not. Do a search and you'll find that the chances are about 50-50.

Now, theres huge thread on this and the knock off ssq....the type S fake one has a weak diaphram....you can get new diaphram from greddy for 85 I think. I would have spent the 90 on a real one.

If you falsely advertise them, then MAYBE..., but that would be mean.

To tell you the truth I am very disapointed with them. First of all they are made of cast aluminum and very shitty casts they are...(at least the ones i have seen). My friend just bought one, and if you are looking for the pssssshhhhhh sound dont buy it. All the sound is, is you down spool of the turbo. It is still venting the air into the atmosphere though. I geuss my point is you dont need them anyways!!! DSM's ECU's computers have already acounted for the excess air. Now the ECU's cant not compensate corectly.
