blackGSX2g said:No, those are non turbo specs. The 2g N/T heads have two different lengths of head bolts so they require different torque settings. If you have a turbo, follow the specs listed for that. If thats right from the book, I assume its true...every rebuild I've done was with ARPs which are different. Are you using ARP head studs, or stockers?

blackGSX2g said:Yes, you torque them all to 14.5 starting from the center of the head moving outwards. Then go back and torque them all 90* (1/4 turn) in the same pattern as before, then go back and do another 90* (1/4 turn) in the same pattern as the above two.
They are torque to yield bolts, so thats why you need to do the additional turns. Its just stretching them to hold the clamping force. Also why you don't want to re-use those head bolts.
