easy answer: what exhaust parts arent replaced by the kits?

i suppose this should be in the newbie forum but i think it has to do more with this one. I got a 95 talon esi, and over the summer im gonna be working a lot and saving up for one of the turbo kits. Im not gonna start bolting on stuff that will just get replaced, and i was curious: what exhaust parts arent gonna be replaced if i get one of the hahn turbo kits? i really dont know all the different parts of the exhaust to be able to know what parts i could replace without having to get rid of later on my own. i just wanna know the exhaust peices that i can buy right now. thanks a lot for the help, im just starting with my first car, so ive still got a thing or two to learn.

you can replace everything in the exhaust but the downpipe
i would leave the header stock since it is going to get thrown away anyway
the hahn kit will supply a new manifold and top half of a downpipe
you have to cut your stock down pipe and attach the bottom half to the hahn supplied piece
as far as cat and exhaust system
you can leave it stock, or do like i did and get a 2 1/2 high flo cat and greddy evo exhaust

ya, like he said, just get a 2.5" high flow cat and cat-back and be done with it until you turbo

haha ya but we were making all motor BEASTS!!

oh yeah, and a little juice for when the beast was thirsty .


but yea dude dont bother with a header or downpipe because the header will be replaced, and depending on whether you go with hahn(clamps to your old downpipe) or star(2.75" dp) your downpipe is replaced
