East Coast Road Trip 2009

Its that time of year again to start planning and setting up for the east coast road trip to myrtle beach. The dates are February 20-22 which as every year follows the drop jaw mag tour. As time progress's more info will be added to the first post such as hotel info and intenerary. If you have any questions feel free to contact me, I hope to see some new and old faces this year.

I am down for the who shebang this year hopefully , just need to reserch another pic spot since the rice took our idea last year . Maybe just maybe we could " reserve "our usual spot by calling hard rock and get permission . I will look into it or maybe a Local who is there can speak up and get the ball rolling .

Im 70miles south but I can call and find out or next known time for me is weekend in December. I think there is another who lives there.

we can always use club kryptonite as the backround no one there during the day and its a nice backround, the ricers are going back to hard rock again this year according to their website

I live on 60 acres..About 5 miles from NMB..ill host this event..

Plenty of farmland to do mods on...plenty of parking..plenty of nearby shops

And there is a 1/8th miles track 7 miles away..we could probably rent it the whole day


Shit if you wanted to i could bushhog a whole field and we could make a party out of it..HUGE bon fires...Drinks..fun..and out in the country where cops wont bother us..But still very much close to the BEACH...Bring a tent and you have a vacation for free...

If anything Dready u got DSM that are local that can help with this event and not be on your own. Feburary 20 to the 22 is still a good weekend to do that. We got alot of time to broadcast this but can it be done and do u want to host it. Were do u actually stay in North Myrtle? Just tell us what the plan

the question i have is what are you gonna do in the event of rain??

i have been down the past 3 years and it has rained at least one day every year. i am not trying to put down the idea but i know i would not want my car sitting in mud.

the other question i have is if people will be staying in the field?

i dont want to sound like a mother but we do myrtle beach also because alot of the places we can go to drink are within walking distance of where they are staying so no one should drive after drinking.

i ment if everyone was staying in the field and parking in it. and a burnout contest is a bad idea with drop jaw in town the cops are everywhere and so far they have left us alone because we dont do those. but everyone can do what they want im just going off of what has happened the past 3 years

My dad owns a cabinet manufacuring company within walking distance of the field..everyone could park there.

Depending on how many people there are..we could stay at the house..its huge..ill go take some pics of all of this and you guys could see what im talking about

ok guys for those who want to camp out great but if you want a hotel i will also post some info up. the bonfire is another good night but i am not gonna be there every night i am still going to set up the normal going out to eat and go enjoy some night life. dreddy you are extrmemly generous and i appreciate it alot but this is also a vacation for alot of people so they are going to want to be in the town and shopping and so on but i will get with you for setting up one of the nights for the bonfire and night pics

I was at the beach last night and I can tell u there are alot of a nice place on 501, 17 and from my house it 100 miles exactly to Myrtle so i can scope some more spots

now comes in the question do you guys want to stay in myrtle beach or north myrtle beach? north myrtle is more laid back and quiet but all the ricers are in myrtle, the up side is they are only about 20 mins from each other

To me it doesnt matter but Little River SC, is closer to North Myrtle is some guys wanted to stay over there. Plus North Myrtle the hotel are cheap with prices so if u want to save some money with a room I would go North Myrlte.
