To check timing? Also is there ignition timing adjustment at all? I just can't find the time to tear into everything around the belts and all the covers and figured there might be an easier way to check it. Hopefully at least. Thanks again, and sorry for all the posts I've been making. Trying to learn as much as possible on here.

There should be timing marks on your lower timing cover. Take a timing light and check it. Also turning your cam sensor would do that. Do a search and I'm sure there's a ton of threads on it.

Yea I've searched but only find threads on turbo motors. Was assuming timing would be different?

Ill have to buy a timing light, never have uses one so that will be a learning curve as well.

get a timing light and a haynes manual, it's a piece of cake. And before you shoot it, make sure the timing marks on the lower cover are cleaned off so u can see them from above.
