Hey guys, so the engine is running strong but there has been a coolant leak ever since I worked on it. It's gotten worse so I am scared to drive the car now. The leak is coming from the o-ring that seals where the water pump meets the water line that wraps around the side of the engine. I searched and couldn't find much good information. I read people saying different things and want to know what needs to be taken off for me to replace this o-ring. Hopefully not the turbo. I read that maybe it is just a few bolts. Help would be much appreciated, I miss driving the car (it's been almost a week!!). And when I replace it I think I am going to coat the ring in Vaseline so that it seals up better, the way it is now I can see a little bit of the o-ring popping out which I am not going to let fly like when I first did this. Thanks :)

I'm not 100% sure but you might be able to get away with just pulling off the downpipe but you'd make it easier on yourself by just pulling the exhaust mani/turbo. When doing stuff like this just pull it off as one big piece...
Remove all the nuts/washers hold on the exhaust manifold, disconnect all the oil/coolant lines going to the turbo, then disconnect the o2 sensor housing from the downpipe and it will all slide off as one piece.

Here ya go, did a little walk through for someone yesterday. But all you really need to remove is your exhaust manifold. You can leave your turbo and everything after hooked up and not touch it. If you want more space to work in the area, you can displace your power steering pump but that's easy to do.

Just scroll down to my long posting. Took me just about a hour to do mine.
