Thanks, Im trying to figure out what i should do with the valve cover color,
and I'm probably gonna get a wire tuck, when that happens i want to get braided lines that are blacked out. And I also want front and rear strut bars, but unsure of which ones to get.

What kind of system do you have? Power caps are worthless, they're bandaids for a problem better solved the correct way. Make sure you have the right size power wire and ground wire. Check connections thoroughly. Also, watch this vid...the big 3 will help quit a bit.

Car Audio 101 - The Big 3 Upgrade Tutorial - YouTube

whats funny is after watching this video a few times to understand everything correctly, i went out to check all my wiring and i have the big 3 already. LOL
so that has left me to think that I just need a new alternator & battery...

UPDATE:

I went out a Purchased me a Optima Redtop, car starts quick, everything is working much better now then before, but I also need to replace my current alternator. I Replaced my old cold air intake filter with a new K&N filter looks really nice.

Also popped open the valve cover and discovered I have 272 HKS cams that look like they're in excellent condition..
I degreased and shined/polished my valve cover while I did this, might as well have did something since it was off. LOL

will upload pictures later.*

UPDATE Nov.3rd.2012

I love and hate this car...
So i went through MANY problems since my last udate to the point where my car wont even start, the car over-heated,most likely messed up my headgasket and i accidentaly made a spark with a wire in my engine bay while the ignition was on, which lead the FPR to fail and dump gas into my vacuum lines into my intake manifold, which lead to gas coming out of my bov and also my turbo HORRIBLE FLOOD...
Its been a good month and a half-ish and im going to start working on the car soon.

list of things to do...
Inspect intercooler & piping for gasoline and damage to any rubber seals/gaskets..
Inspect Fuel Pressure Regulator...
remove intake manifold and clean it out a bit, check for any seals that went bad...
Buy new Spark Plugs & wires...
Inspect my Starter....
Inspect my battery terminal wiring...

FML! goddamn dsm has me in debt, let alone I'm not doing the best financially because of the hurricane.(I work outside for a vendor that removes scratches from vehicles.) this sucks.!

Hopefully soon I can get this baby started again, see if anything else is wrong with it.. i hope to fix this mess that I have on my hands and get it back on the road again.

well its been nearly a year and 2 months, a lot of parts were purchased throughout the time and a lot of patience. LOL

so a little update on things:

Decided that since my wiring was hacked up from the last owner, i ripped out the engine harness and body harness and fully re-wired it, cut it to length, deleted stuff i wasn't needing anymore and made it 50% lighter. wrapped in braided black nylon and tucked away. I have the fuse box located in the glove box now, and have it wired through the passenger fender under the radiator support and through the driver fender to the interior.

I also ripped out my audio system and currently have none of that installed anymore. less weight hehe:sneaky:

purchased a bunch of new parts:

Aeromotive a1000
Aem AIT sensor
Coil On Plug with stainless plate
all new custom built wiring harness
new master and slave cylinder
new act 6 puck unsprung disc
removed my built 2.0l and now have a fresh 2.3 stroker (ross/eagle/oem100mmcrank ACL bearings, arp everything.)
All new silicon hoses
STM fuel rail to tank braided hose w/an-fittings fuel lab black fuel filter
mishimoto magnetic drain plug
NRG purple/green shift knob
Gates Racing timing belt
contitech timing belt(currently installed switching to gates after tune)
ATI Harmonic Damper
MLS Headgasket
New exhaust valves
new bosche battery (temporary also have STM with pc680 kit)
Jay racing coil pack relocation bracket (don't even need this anymore i have COP)
New driveshaft carrier bushings
1000cc PTE fuel injectors

Ill be posting pics in the next few days of the progress. hope to be driving this by next week!
