VHT nightshades...

and I for one am GLAD they never made any aftermarket taillights for the talon.

I'm not... because SOMEONE could have produced all red or already blacked out tails...to save lazy people like me the trouble....I got to a point I didnt care no more and went to the Eclipse rear end

aftermarket talon tails with all red or blacked out would probably = 200+ dollars
niteshades spray can = less then 10 to do all your lights.....

If your cops are as picky as they are here in Eau Claire I would recommend not tinting the headlights at all, and the tails don't light much up anyway, you can still see the red light through with the tint on them. Or just tint them all red like a few guys here have done, it looks kinda cool, or just different.
Or just leave them and put some money into a cool paint job or something, whatever.

but doesnt that make your headlights and tail lights dimmer then they were?

i never did it on headlights, just tails. but they look black during the day but when they are on or you step on the brakes, you cant really even tell the difference

ok sorry for the double post but no one was replying. the last thing i want to know i where can i get this spray stuff?

Whoa there, don't bump :nono: or the Mods will lock your thread!

:)

VHT NightShades can be had at almost any on-line aftermarket shop. Just do a Google search.

Summit Racing is local to me (Ohio), so that's where I go to pick up my cans.

Just be aware that most places in the States have a "red by light, red by sight" rule for tailights, so if you want to be sure that you don't get pulled-over, be sure you go light on the tinting on the red parts of your rear, especially the reflectors, if your local cops are tight on this kind of thing.

On my '95 TSi, I'm planning to only "black out" the amber portion. Since my Talon is a black-on-white scheme, I'm hoping that this will both look good and know that it will keep me "legit" with law enforcement around my local area, which seem to be rather by-the-books strict about the "red by light, red by sight" rule.

well my friend said that he found out where to get some talon tail lights. i asked him today and hes going to ask this dude that has everything done to his talon what site he got em from.

if i get the links from him i will post them here. isnt it hard to do a eclipse tail end swap?

The only other thing I have ever seen done with the Talon tails (which I like just as they are) is the Amber illuminating with the Red stop light.

Looks nice at night IMO

but whats the name of those headlights where theres a blue ring around the lights and you can have just that on at times? wheres links and prices?
