That came out really nice. Did you use plastic paint or a plastic primer and regular black paint and clear coat? I've had the center piece on my 1g done with primer forever now, but one of this day it would ve nice to get it nice and shiny

Scuff & wash with dishwashing liquid...allow to dry fully in the sun; PPG DPX801 adhesion promoter, scuff again once dry, tack cloth, straight DMD1683 black basecoat (2 coats), then Omni MC270 Production Clear on top (2 coats). Looks factory.

I plan to do the same steps when I smoke her tail lights, only for that you mix a very small percentage of the DMD1683 directly into the clear and apply the clear over the DPX801 in even coats until you achieve your desired degree of tint....normally 2-3 coats. Comes out 100 times better than any spray-bomb lens tint.
