Cheap cheap said the little bird. $500, a mass produced intake for a sbc is still 250. And you expect.this for 500.get lost.

I can buy brand new aftermarket aluminum intakes for v8's all day long for 150 and I'm not talking about chevy crap either, rarer olds and pontiac parts. The simple fact that anyone would pay this much for this manifold proves that there are people out there with more money than brains.

Again, not disputing the effectiveness of this manifold, it's a great piece, but far too expensive.

That's the problem with people who start making parts, they expect to sell a bunch at a high price right away. Reality doesn't work that way. If he would have taken a loss on the first 20 manifolds, he'd be selling them right and left. Now they've disappeared and aren't being made. How many are out there? 2? 3? Eventually everyone will forget about it while crappy designs out there will live forever. Ugh.
