2G DSMLink question after 6-bolt swap

so i blew my 7 bolt in my 95 tsi and im putting my 6 bolt in i was tuned on ecmlink, when i swap the settings to 6 bolt will that tune carry over to the 6 bolt block? should i retune it or is it safe to drive? its a jdm motor and i put bc titanium valve springs and retainers and 280 cams in what should i do guys?

You should probably run your old tune with the exception of the timing map. Sounds like you have lower compression now and you'll probably want to use a 1g timing map. The cams will also require some tweaking on the airflow.

Should be. No reason why you shouldn't be logging to monitor things though.
