ok can someone explain to me what an EPROM ECU is or can an EcmLink work for my 420A?

A guy at autozone told that i send in my ecu and they put a chip that unlocks it so i can tune it better?

Any Help here?

ECMlink doesn't work with the 420a platform. End of story.

Check out the forum for other tuning solutions though.

You cant really tune the 420a ecu , megasqurit is a standalone ECU

yes right im just doing some research before i decide to build

Megasquirt will be your best option but it really needs a good understanding on wiring and probably building your own megasquirt or putting it together to save some money. Also you can use something like AEM FIC.

Well what are your plans? Are you going turbo or n/a? Depending on your goals and what you plan to do will tell alot. People run turbos on the 420a with a stock ecu but you need certain things to make it work. Which if you search on here or Google you can find out what's required.
