So I'm pretty new to tuning software and.. well anything of the sort.

I've been running a Keydiver Stage 3 Chip and just got my DSMLink v3 Lite.

With the Keydiver I would of needed to put in the provided clutch wire to have launch control.

I never did as I like to stay out of wiring/electrical work as much as I can and I rarely launch the car. But I really want to have my launch control for the track next month. My friend with v2 says he thinks his launch control is all ran through the chip/software itself - no clutch wire needed.

I can't tell from the ECMLink site whether the clutch wire is needed aside for No Lift to Shift.

And final dumb question
Is the launch control with DSMLink the same as Hondas with Hondata? Where you just are in first gear, push in the clutch and hold the gas to the floor to engage the launch control? Or is there something different with DSMs?

Thanks for any help!

No clutch wire modifications are needed. You only need to have the clutch wire connected to enable the function. Clutch wire modification is needed to use the '' no shift limit '' function.

Just get into dsmlink with your laptop connected to the ecu and then adjust the rpm at wich you desire the rpm cut out to be. You can either adjust the speed at wich you want the launch control to be desactived. For exemple, it will not really be good to have the car rolling at like 30mph and still get the launch controller limiter activated when you are pushing the clutch in and floor the gas.
