Hello everybody hope all is well.... I am kinda running into a dilemma here... Well to start out i had a chip burned for fic 550 injectors, 5 step launch control, nlts, upgraded timing map etc etc... Well i have 2 problems here.. I installed the ecu and car started and ran.. So first off i went to activate my launch control.. I understand you turn the key forward and press the gas one time for X amount rpm, then you press it a second time for x amount rpm Etc etc.. While doing this i see my factory boost gauge rise like it should it quarter incriments..
Problem is the car just revs out the launch control does not activate.. Now this is just a 5 step stutter box not a 2 step antilag setup. I hooked up the clutch wire to pin 91 on my ecu for nlts and that works.. I know you shouldnt have to have the clutch wire installed for launch control so if any body has any ideas on why this is not working that would be awesome..
My second question is farely easy So the car is a 2g talon tsi so on my maft i set the dials for aux 4 base 2 for stock 2g 450cc injectors.. I have been running fic 550s so i had the dials set at aux 4 and base C.. Now that the chip is burned for 550s should i turn it back to aux 4 and base 2 or just zero everything out..
 
Iv been searcing and messing around with it for two days now and still havent figured it out so:

Hello everyone, I recently had my ecu socketed and had a chip burned for it.. To make a long story short the chip came with 5 step launch control and nlts..

When i do a launch the launch control works awesome then all of a sudden at 6k it starts like kicking back in, like the launch control is reactivating, sputtering, cutting ignition. This only happens between 1st and 2nd gear and only when i do a launch using the launch control.

So basically ill launch that car at 5k then it will take off then bam instant sputter again at 6k until i shift.

Sounds like your nlts is set at 6k and activating. With mine if my foot is on the clutch at all it will activate the nlts because it is very sensitive.
