wash dc metro area,
hey guys, for those that are using older laptops, just wondering what you have your display settings (graph/text) set at? And what laptop are you using? i have 2 different laptops, and want to use one as a backup. my Compaq Pentium 4 1.8mHz can run 1:1 graph and 2:1 text. my other laptop is a Dell Pentium I 166mHz

Prol little help, but I've been using 2:1 graph, 8:1 text (defaults?) on a Dell C600 PIII 850MHz, Dell C640 P4 1.8GHz and my new Dell D620 w/Dual 1.8GHz all without issues. Then again I have very little else on the older laptops to compete with memory/CPU resources :dsm:

i used a much older laptop when i first had DSMLink, and i also used the default setting with no issues.

I ran the origional settings on the origional old laptop I was using as well, without any issues. I believe it was a PII & it did have additional memory not sure but 256mb at the most.
