I dont get what your point is either...but my 96 Talon AWD TSi with just the free mods and blow off valve gets beat by my buddy's 2004 WRX 2.0 turbo AWD. All he has is some Tein lowering springs and free mods.

STI WRX's are real fast...13's easily from what I have seen around here.

I beat a WRX on the highway, I was preety much stock, put about a car and a half on him from 60-100.

The idiot that said the turbo eclipse was slow is smoking crack, ever checked out a V6 camaro's speedo ? they only mark 110MPH :laugh: ....He was probaly driving a non-turbo auto.

I have a bunch of friends with LS1 camaros and trans ams, that guy on the forum was way misinformed. My stock turbo "junk awd eclipse" will beat a modded ls1 f-body at the track. Apparently he hasn't been racing any quick 1g's around his area

Not only did it touch me, but im sure it will make most of them biased lowlife clowns on that site realize what idiots they are. Actually I just thought I would post, I dislike the Eclipse more then almost any other Japanese car. It has a sport look I used to like, but it isn't fast, and never will be, the fastest it ever has or will be, isn't even near close to the fastest streetable car, including drag. It's meant as something nice to drive and be in, but not as a car to race anything. If I ever get beat by one, I'll be ok with it, because then I'll change one thing on my V8, and kill it. End of story.

I don't like what they say about DSM's but some of it's true, like a camaro SS beating a stock DSM. I don't want a war to start over this, it's unfar to call every one on the forum idoits just because a few people don't like DSM's. I personally like DSM's, because I used to own one. I respect revolution for his post and how he handled it, and about Danssull post about him not likeing DSM's...well he is a friend and it's kinda like a joke between us. I was gone for a few days so I didn't catch some of this before it got out of hand. I never ment it to become a virbal fight. I hope you understand and don't take it to heart

what caused this whole thing..was the fact that you posted a link on a DSM site. Personally, i dont care what wrx owners or any other fanboys think about DSM's. If people want to bench race they can..but if they want to run there POS V6 Camaro (Helix069) against my GST..i will gladly hand him his ass while im stock. I'm sorry I will take more care next time I post a link. The fact is that every one likes what they have, wether it be fast or slow. I just started my forum and I'm sorry it started on such a bad note, my forum is made up of different kind's of people street racing to offroading and more will most likely be added in the future. I also have some knowledge from both Imports and domestic cars, I have brothers that own an RX-7 and Mustang cobra. They go at it all the time but still respect each others cars. I also don't know alot about alot of the cars out there besides basic info, and I don't pretend to know all about them. Sence my forum is just starting it's mostly people I know online and personal friends. We talk alot about the "WHAT IF'S"

on another note: I plan to buy a DSM some were in the future maybe this summer, not sure if I will get a 1st gen or a 2ndgen. But when I do I will need some help from you guys so I can race the rx-7,cobra,camaroSS and helix's iroc

P.S. helix doesn't have a v6 camaro I don't know were that came from he has a camaro iroc.
