Went out and loaded my Ford Edge for work this morning and the battery was dead (Been slow cranking for over a week)
Warmed up the talon, loaded it up, and off I went. Its Awesome being able to count on the Talon when in need.
Any other stories of DSM's saving the day?

I was living in St Louis for like 4 months while training at a PDR company that i joined back in 2005. I had just bought the car from my friend after i had a bad accident in my own that was totalled out and drove this car 4 1/2 hours down there. (3 hours and 45 minutes because i ran into a Supra and an EVO and chased them all the way there 🙃 )

My last day there, I tried to leave to take the long trip home and noticed that my engine temp was close to running hot in the 100 degree heat and 100% humidity. I turned around and waited like three hours with some of the guys that were waiting to leave for the airport. I debated on what i was going to do while checking the car over. Went to autozone and picked up a jug of coolant. filled the coolant reservoir and let the car cool down with the hood open.

It started raining and temperatures started to drop so i figured its now or never. Started driving and started raining harder. Then it stopped raining all of a sudden about an hour into the trip. I looked up through my sunroof to see a rotating funnel cloud trying to come down on top of me. Gas down, 120 mph to the nearest overpass, where i sat with a family and a guy with a Stang Terminator for about 15 minutes as the tornado came down on the other side of the highway and golf ball sized hail falling from the sky. Drove all the way back to Chicagoland without cooking the engine. DSM saves the day and didnt leave me stranded.
