By far the best part of the meet was after the meet. That parking lot won't look at that damn open exhaust Eclipse the same again!

You mess around with your car yet? Seen any videos from Saturday? I wanna hear in car audio as I pass people. They can leave those damn stupid ass runs that I couldn't shift out at final edit. Probably the ones they will show.

No Eclipse, but a few of the cars that got passed are there. Thanks for working the laptop for me, sure made it easier on me. If only I knew how to drive a stick.

That vid looks pretty sick. Did you guys roll out w/ any of them? I'm down for another meet in Austin, looks like the sceene there is a little more legit. Set a date, I'll be sure to be there...

There were a few there, and yes we rolled out with them. Sadly the Eclipse is not in the fastest league of cars. We didn't line up with the fastest cars out there, but didn't lose sight of them either.
at racing a Porsche and LS1 from whatever we agreed on to 140, blowing the shift and still sailing by them...well the Porsche because the LS1 hit the brakes when I got to his bumper...before 140. The next run I left no doubt they were NO match for me...slow shifting!
I will rematch the stroker Stang while he sprays, from his roll, because I think I can make up his advantage on the initial hit once I'm in 2nd and 3rd (and 4th if need be). I just have to find 2nd, then 3rd.

I don't see anything wrong with the shifter, cables, brackets, ... after ####ing it up against the green Stang. Wierdest shit ever, but will figure it out before I roll out again.

Its going to be an all Mitsubishi Meet i.e. DSM, Evo/Lancer, Starion, Galant, 3g/4g Eclipse, Conquest, 3000gt

We talked about having it at the Bill Millers off 10 in Seguin, about 10 minutes from the track.
Heading to the track again after the meet....
