DSM meet in April

Lets get something going. I've been going through an upgrade stage and wanna kick it with some DSM guys for awhile. What do you guys say? Something, middle of April maybe? We need to organzie and we'll make a photo shoot out of it too. I'm in Redmond/Kirkland but only about 10 minutes from Seattle - so we can do it where ever.

I'll be gone on a trip to New Mexico from the 13th through the 17th, so the weekend of the 15th is out for me also... But I don't think that there should be a problem for me coming out on the weekend of the 22nd... And also once I can get a timing belt job done soon and get my AF/X underdrive pully put on, I'll be back to Pacific Raceways racing, so people can catch me there! BTW, does anyone know a fairly cheap place around the Olympia/Tacoma area to get a timing job done? I have all the parts: All 3 belts, mechanical tensioner conversion and bearing, idler bearing, AF/X underdrive pully, and water pump... I just need the labor done by someone because I don't know if I trust myself with that kind of work... the head on my car is pretty important I'm told... But anyway, I'm down for a meet!

Here is my idea.

Lets meet up in Olympia around noon maybe 1. Hopefully we'll get the weather for some photo opps at a nice open parking lot off martin way (exit 109) Right next to red lobster and Brewer city.

We could even cruise over to the state capital and take some photo's there.

AFter that we cruise up north to the tacoma/seattle area for some grub at a spot someone picks out.

Or we could do it the opposite way and meet for lunch up north, and crusie south and stop around the state capital for a photo shoot?


Yay or nay, or someone got a better idea, tell the truth, my feelings won't get hurt.

Try and make it out. They are pretty fun when you got like 20+ guys on the highway or rolln in somewhere. keep us posted man.

Maybe you're joking but I'll tell you anyway... a GVR4 is a Mitsubishi Galant VR-4... They had the same 4G63 motor and all wheel drive system that the Eclipse GSX and Talon TSi AWD had... Maybe you already knew that and I'm just talking to talk, but if not... So yeah... MEET! 22nd should still work for me... just need to hammer out the details...

I still haven't been able to make it to a meet ... I work every weekend, so that pretty much excludes me from all of them. Whenever the meet is made for, I'll TRY to make it, but it most likely won't happen if it's on a weekend. I'd love to meet some of the DSM'rs in the area though.

Its all good man...I should've got your number and in contact w/ you sooner about it, so that is my bad...sorry to hear about the loss though. My car may be down and unable to make it, but I may definitely come down in my buddies evo or something. I will let you know here soon.
