Drove car all day.. parked it ran inside..wont start..HELP!!!

Like title says the car was running fine all day drove it from 7am back home from class and then back and forth four more times today just ran inside to change for work go back outside and car wont start now...

While I was driving it from my class that gets over at 315 the car started fine but about 2 or 3 mins into the drive the stereo just shut off and then all my gauges died, gauges only came back on when I shut my headlights off and the stereo only came on when the car was in gear when ever I put it into neutral it would shut off and the gauges would go off. SRS light came on, no idea what that is either..

SOME ONE PLEASE HELP THE CAR IS MY DAILY!!!!!!!!

Sounds like an alternator issue to me.

jump the car and disconnect the battery, if it dies its the alternator

+1 Alt, or the wiring from the alt to the fusebox, fuse for the alt, or power and/or ground on the battery. Your your Alt connector fell out or is loose.

My Saturn swapped alt came loose today on the way to work. Same issues, minus the radio. Until it fell off the block, then a whole other set of issues came...

Just alittle, happened at 80mph and took a chunk of the timing belt out. Luckly I have a spare belts and tools to replace it on my lunch. We'll see how the drive home goes.

OR you could do it the RIGHT way and just take a multimeter to the terminals.

Which I did sir! It's the battery and I'm going to pick a new one up tomorrow morning. Thanks for all the help everyone, I'm sure I'll be back for more soon.
