dropzone, and no it's not a repost

ive been reading up on how dropzone basically sucks the big one, but do you all think they would be as bout it the coilovers were matched up with dropzone shocks and struts??

Com'on, look at damn picture. They're taking a crappy coilover kit and putting it on shocks with welded-on perches such that the sleeve now sits crooked, as well.

Stop thinking with your wallet. Look at what you would get for the money with an open and honest mind. You don't need us to tell you that crap is crap. You can figure this out for yourself, no matter how little experience you have.

so would i be better of buy buying ebaich springs and koni shocks?...i really have no experience with lowering cars. but all i wanna know is what is the best and correct way to lower my car, and what products should I use

Yeah, that coilover set looks like it'd been assembled in someone's patio. Someone cut the spring seat off of those shocks and painted them white, it seems.

I suppose if you're doing it for the looks, you can settle with a substandard product (if all you want to do is lower the car). But I wouldn't say those shocks are for "racing" ... That word has become somewhat of a misnomer on eBay. I'd probably buy a set of AGX's and Eibachs over those.

(Not that I'm saying you should buy AGX's ... Konis and GC coilovers are your best bet if you want a good off-the-shelf setup)

The 1g I just bought I found out have these dropzone "coilovers" if you could even call it that, but anyways do you suggest putting stock suspension back on or are they better than stock suspension?

Anybody run in to problems with these failing in any way?

I have KYB AGX's with H&R springs on my gc8 subaru and they are very nice, so if I upgrade it would be to that but I don't see the DSM being my handling car as much as my Subaru already is.

I HAD dropzone shocks and coilovers, key word had, I couldn't stand them, they are in a box in my garage. I put the shock back on, I would rather ride on stock than on those. They looked good because they were so low, but they road horrible
