BTW, leave stubs in the transmission so you don't lose your gear oil, and leave stubs in the hub assembly so you don't ruin your bearings.

The bearings your talking about are pressed into the steering knuckle. thats the hub assembly. The drive axle goes threw that hub assembly. In broad terms it will pull out like a driveshaft. It isnt that easy though. Its different for each side. Im just sayin that it can be done.

No offense but duh!. Turbo DSM I happen to be an ASE CERTIFIED MECHANIC who has been working in garages for 12 years. I was just pointing out that if you just remove the front axle shafts the pressed in bearings( which are called unitized bearings) would separate and the wheel would basically fall off. No offense

What ignorance. Professional drifting is controlled mayhem and takes great driving skills. Try watching a professional drifting team running a track in perfect unison 3 cars side by side.

Plenty could argue that drag racing is one of the most primitive forms of racing...light is green and you go forward. Wow!!

To OP...get yourself a 240 and do a jdm conversion. One of the best drift cars there are and they are cheap and easy to work on.

Well aren't we Mr. Proud. I'm ASE certified in 15 different area's and you don't hear me bragging it up on here telling people that because I'm ASE certified I know more than you. If he wants to try to drift a DSM let him go for it. I would make sure you have a 4 bolt underneither there and upgrade your rear axle's and check for play in your rear end gears to see if they need attention before you put 100% power to them.
