So after purchasing My 95 GSX a few months ago, I've been battling coolant line ruptures, oil leaks, and a ruined k frame. My current issue is a p0300 code. This has been by far the worst problem I've had. When I exit a gear and into neutral from a higher RPM the car will die without a rev. Also when I start it cold the car will die or just have a rough all-over the place idle. Just yesterday I was traveling up a hill and the car began to buck and bottom out RPMs and a second later go back to where they should be. Long story short I ended up with a tow home. Where do i start? I am hoping that this is just an ignition problem

That's a multiple misfire code. When were the plugs/wires changed last?

Yeah, I got the same problem .... start with plug wires, spark plugs (change for all new), and see what's going on.

I don't have hills here but I understand what are you talking about

The plugs and wires are relatively new, as my whole engine was swapped 60k ago. I guess that's somewhere to start though! thank you

If 60k ago is new for plugs/wires.... you're in the wrong market.

My plug wires was brand new too, two of them was bad from factory, spend $100 to finally realize that was the problem.

Do all the basic maintenance, plug wires and get new plugs and gap them, is the car over heating? Over heating will make hoses go bad often. Replace the cracked holes and get the coolent system pressure tested. Check for boost leaks. Oil leaks can be something as simple as an old valve cover gaskets or old oil pan gasket. We need more info where is the oil at? Did you adjust the idle screw on the throttle body it might help your idle... This site has a lot of info on it about are cars you just have to search. 99.9% of the time your issue is one that someone else on here has already ran into and fixed...
