Hey guys,

I have a 1998 GSX and Im trying to decide on what setup to use. I need some opinions on a good Down Pipe and High Flow Cat that would work with the HKS Carbon Ti (yes i know its expensive but i love the sound, quality and customer service is great with HKS.....flame on)

I did some searches...most people just get a DP that eliminates the cat but for legal reasons i need one. Others just use a 2.5" DP and keep the stock cat.

I have read that Buschur makes good DPs but what cat would bolt up to that DP and my HKS exhaust? Im assuming im out of luck and will be getting a shop to mod the Cat for the right flanges but i figured id take a shot anyway and ask you all.

goal: as much 3" piping as possible

thanks guys.

Just buy a ebay downpipe and test pipe and if they don't bolt up have a muffler shop mod them. If your not making very much power 3" isn't even necessary, most downpipes are 2.5" and go to 3" after the flex section anyways.
