Hello, I was looking for some opinions wether to get the HKS Carbon Ti and RRE downpipe or should i take advantage of the buschur racing TB exhaust deal. I figure that it's a real nice deal, buschur is extremely nice quality, and they're both 3". However, i want to get an eye catching exhaust, with a real deep rumble, especially when i get my built motor in next year. Which would you guys suggest? plz include your pro's on con's to your decisions. I know that the HKS and RRE combo will cost about 1000$ compared to the 750$ shipped for the buschur deal. thanks

There are so many exhausts and posts that you will not have an easy decision! I have had a Buschur system and the quality is first rate with simpe instal. When I went to 3" I went with www.kteller.com (great prices!) and their 3" ss system with resonator and a custom magnaflow ss muffler. The muffleris 18"x5"x8" and is 3" in and dual 3" out, # 14298. kteller can get you that muffler. It is so long that the outlets are my tips! Quiet when cruising and niceidle sound but when I get on it it is plenty loud/powerful! mark

Well it all comes down to power or the bling factor. If you went with our TBE system sale you could choose from either the high flow cat for emissions (if you have them) or test pipe, for even more flow. As for the muffler if you want a good, loud, deep tone I would suggest going with our lightweight BR muffler. Everything in our package is welded and ready to go right out of the box. For $750.00 to your door is a steal. If you have any other questions just shoot me an email to [email protected] and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

I agree with nick, it's up to you wether you want to spend over 300 more just for the looks of the muffler. Some people do and some people just want the most power for their buck. It's all about how much money you have and are willing to spend for a nice looking muffler.

I was just in the same situation you were in, only between the N1 and the Carbon-Ti, I went with the N1 b/c it is actually bigger piping than the Carbon-Ti! I found a GREAT deal on the N1 at http://www.extremepsi.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=16895&cat=0&page= $699 for DP and Catback SHIPPED!!! $30 more for my GSX but it was a HELL of a deal, and everything got here in like 3days! I love my n1 already great tone, and you can notice low end torque increases! I guess you werent talking about the n1 but maybe you could look at that too!! :thumb: My $.02

HKS carbon ti is the best sounding exhaust and looking exhaust ever made for a 2g...in my opinion!!!

HKS Carbon Ti Muffler: $290
Muffler shop 3" piping: $100-$200
Total: $390-$490

Save atleast $350 or so off a full hks, but have the same shit. Even if you bought a high flow cat, exhaust manifold, and a downpipe it would be cheaper then buying the full hks. I love the look, but honestly I won't pay $800 for the hks, I would barley fork out a few hundred for an apexi. Just my opinion though.

EDIT: Also might add, ebay has deals on the hks for us some times, much much much more cheaper then most retail.

Like most have said it is looks or a good deal. For me I am a performance kind of guy so I went with the exhaust that was a true 3in system and had the least amount of bends for a 1G AWD. I ended up waiting forever on RNR, but I love my exhaust. The reason I picked that over other brand name exhaust was the actuall size. The N1 and others neck down in certain areas to about 2.5 inches. I paid for 3in exhaust I want 3in exhaust. I will, however, admit that the Carbon Ti muffler is hot. One day when I get an itch Ill buy one and weld it to my RNR.
