dp/exhuast

ok so im going to do a new exhuast and i was thinking a 3" dp and full custom 3" back but i am still running the stock turbo, but i am planning on the evo lll but not in the near future. i dont have a exact time on the evo ll but i know i am getting one eventually. so couple of questions
1. will the stock turbo and evo lll both bolt up to a 3" dp or do i need something else
2. is the stock turbo and 3" to much until i get the evo lll
3. do i even need 3" with the evo lll
please give opions on what i should do i am doing the custom full exhust with magnaflow muffler leaving the stock cat on along with the dp

My answer is -
No you dont need 3 in, but it would be better to have, no matter which turbo you currently have.
Are you getting custom dp or buying one?
The manifold and 02 housing is what changes, the dp should work with almost all setups ...
Me personally I got a 3in dp custom done with a ported out flange and etc and it is more customizable that way to how you want it to be ran under the car.

i will be buying the dp and taking the rest to the shop also what is a good brand dp that is not over 300

My answer is - No you dont need 3 in with anything, but yes youd want 3in , no matter which turbo, unless your power goals arent that high, but it wouldnt hurt to have 3in, and are you getting custom dp or buying one? the manifold and 02 housing is what changes the dp should work with most turbo manifolds unless your doing a custom one ...
Everything should still bolt up ok, since 1g guys use 2g manifolds sometimes.
