If you want my opinion, and you have a recent Android/iPhone, then get a Pioneer AppRadio 2. It's a clean, nice looking head unit, and it uses your phone as the car PC, which has sweet navigation, audio, video, etc. It really is the best way.

Reviving this...Did you have to buy any other cables or connections (other then the bracket you've mentioned)? Did you add a backup camera?
 
What size double din are you all running in your 2G's? I just got a 6.2 however it doesnt sit flush with the trim and I cant find a instal kit to adjust it.
