dose this have todo with crankwalk

My vacume gauge reads 20 solid all the time at idle, then when i turn the wheel sitting still the gauge reads 15-16 and then when i turn on the a/c it dose it again. I cant find anything on this. Can someone help

YES, THAT IS THE FIRST SIGN OF CRANKWALK!!

But seriously, crankwalk is highly (unless you've had it) and doesn't happen as often as some people would lead you to believe.

The scenario you are describing is perfectly normal.

Q. What makes you think this is crankwalk related?

Q. When you turn your wheel standing still (which you're not supposed to do, ever) you're putting immense amounts of pressure on your power steering. Which is driven by what?

Q. When you turn on your A/C at idle it puts a fairly significant load on what part?

A. I'm not sure.

So it would make sense your idle RPM's drop/your vac decreases under these conditions since your motor is being put under load. You'll also notice that by loading your alternator with your headlights and a thumpin' stereo system that your car will enjoy that a lot too.

You might also notice that, if you load the engine by giving it more throttle in order to accelerate, your vac will then too decrease sometimes to the point where you build boost and you have no vac at all!

I just want to double check. Oh and my motor has 157,XXX miles on it so i want to be careful. I dont have a stereo and i had to turn the wheel so i could pull out of a parking lot when i noticed it. And i think it might have todo with crankwalk becasue since i turned the boost up to 15lbs i heard a weird clicking coming off the underdrive pully but i think its an old ac belt.
