Hamilton,
This is kind of a "part 2" of my previous thread where I couldn't get the door panel off (the door wouldn't open).
I was able to get the door to unlock (just got lucky and it poped open) and as soon as it was open I popped the door panel off. I played with the lock from both the inside switch and the keylock many times while the door was open, the lock works perfectly fine.
I kept the door panel off and closed the door and guess what happened, it wouldn't unlock again. I have no idea what would be causing the door to stick in the locked position while the door is closed.
Does the little bar that the latch attaches too (on the inside of the door sill) need to be adjusted? I looked at it fairly quickly last night but it doesn't look like there is any adjustment in there.
What should I check next time I can unlock the door?
This is with manual locks on a 92 Talon.
Thanks for any help you might be able to give.

) Maybe you can get it to "stick" and you can see exactly what is happening inside the door when you do this. Slamming the door hard can sometimes move the linkage just enough to catch too so watch out for that. Grab a file and get to work...Good luck!
