I have a 96 GSX. I need to replace the passenger door. Anyone know where I can get a diagram, or a how-to for replacing the door. I know about unbolting and bolting back up the new, but I'm concerned with the wiring. Thanks

What wiring? Their should just be a plug coming out of the door that goes in the hinge area of the car.

really, i never looked in depth at it, i just see the rubber surround and thats it, i thought all the wires inside need to be spliced and re connected.

I recently banged up my side door, and I just bought another one. I will be putting it on soon, but mine has one bulk connector with a mess of wires. It comes right out of the rubber wire loom, and in the door hinge area as mentioned. I couldn't see it not being there, unless the new door you are going to put on is not power at all, I.E. manual window, mirror, locks.

Would a universal dedicated socket work? As in the u-joint is the atcual socket, and you don't connet the actual socket to it?

One of the Special Service Tools is the wrench to reach the door hinge bolts. Good luck with it. OMG

Do tell me more, whats this tool called, or look like? I figured a normal socket set would work.
