OK so my door locks seem a** backwards if I lock my drivers side door with the key or manually inside the car it locks and locks the passenger door but immediately unlocks both doors no matter if keys are in the ignition or not but if I lock the passenger door they lock and stay locked and if I try to unlock the driver door it locks back its like I have to unlock or lock my car with the passenger door... its on a 92 talon tsi awd thanks for any information

Electric door locks are supposed to open both doors together, at least that is what mine did.
As far ar locking/unlocking right away, check all linkages for locks on both sides, make sure none of them are binding. Mine did something similar and basically when the actuator moved the lock on passenger side (locking the door manually on drivers side) but it was not moving everything all the way so the passenger side lock was in "unlock" position making the car try to unlock both sides together. Hope this makes sence, kinda hard to explain.

Later found out that what was really happening was that a part inside the actuator on passenger side was moving too fast and bouncing back, activating the switch. Had to open up the actuator and mess with simething inside of it. If your issue is not solved by tomorrow, i will go and try to find the actuator and look at what exactly had to be done.

OK I kinda understand what your saying but I will try to explain better its like my passenger door is the primary door and my driver door does whatever the passenger door does if I lock the passenger door the driver door locks and same with unlocking I would think the passenger door would mimic the driver door f I lock the driver door the passenger door should lock and if I unlock the driver door the passenger door should unlock..... example every morning when I get to work I shut the car off then I have to reach over and lock the passenger door then open the driver door before it locks then when I go to get back in I have to unlock driver door with the key and quickly pull the handle before it locks back then I reach over and unlock the passenger door so that both doors stay unlocked.. my dad has a 93 n/a talon and his does the opposite of my car the way it should be its like there is some wires switched somewhere... but thanks for the quick reply

Hmm... Was any work done to the doors recently?

Found this wiring diagram of the lock system. Looking at it now, trying to figure out what might cause the issue.

Update: After looking at the diagram i saw two trigger wires going from locks to a "control module". On the module's plug they are pins 2 (for driver's) and 4 (for passenger's) side. Try swapping them and see if that changes anything.

Update: Here is the diagram for keyless entry wiring, if needed. On it pin 13 and pin 20 are ones for lock triggers.

No work on the doors done that I know of I just took the car in on trade the only other electrical issue I have is the the radio randomly shuts on and off so I think its a wiring problem every thing else in the car works as it should

Is the control module in the drivers door or under the dash I have been looking through my chilton and couldn't find any wiring diagram on the door locks

If i remember correctly, it's on driver's side next to the back seat, under an interior panel. It's a gray-colored block with a white plug on the bottom and a metal mounting tab on top.
