I just bought a 95 talon esi. I want to to the usual six bolt swap. I was wondering what daily driver parts i can take off my esi and put on the six bolt. The parts I was wondering about are things like power steering, ac, stuff like that. Thanks guys!

Lol i would like to know also as i have a 95 Talon TSI AWD with a walking 7bolt :-\ i have a 92 6bolt engine( From a GSX ) sitting on a engine lift but i have some questions before droping it in they are

1 Wiring harness match up? ( will i need a new harness or will the 95fit the older motor )
2 Tranny line up? or will i need the trans from the 6bolt?
3 anything need to be altered i was told i have to drill some holes for the intake or something?
4 will this motor simply drop in if non of the above have to be done? :) look forward to replies ( if i could get a P/M about it would be excellent )

Sorry to burst your bubble, but you don't have a 4G63 engine - and so a six bolt swap is out of the question.

The 2G N/T Talons and Eclipses came with the Chrysler 420A engine, not the Mitsubishi 4G63. Unfortunately, they were built upon two completely different platforms and almost nothing between the two are compatible. Besides the changing whole drivetrain, electronics, etc., you would need to go as far as actually modifying the chassis.

The entire process is insanely labor intensive and expensive. The consensus around here is that you'd be better off (both physically and financially), by buying either a turbo 2G, or finding a turbo shell for your project.
