1995 GSX, bought it last weekend.

My dad just got done replacing the front and rear rotors, we took it for a test drive and there wasn't any sign of ANYTHING else wrong with the car as we test drove it. I came back to the house, and was about to head out again to fix a buddy's harddrive and the car wouldn't start. Everytime I attempted to start it would make a gargling noise like fuel was being released but nothing else was happening. I tried jump starting it and nothing happened.

My dad thinks it's the battery or starter but from all the posts I read on here, it seems that DSM are just bound to die... but there's no way in hell this engine is going out the way it is. I wanna know if anyone has heard this noise before.

I doubt anyone can really help, it's an extremely vague problem. thanks

if the car is making a gargaling noise give it some tums. that works for me when i make gargaling noises. did you sounds like the starter is working from your well descriptive quetion, are you getting spark. you have gas in the tank, change your fuel filter lately use a noid light to check if injectors are getting a ttl signal, check fuel pressure check timing belt. just for beginnners and check your tire pressure to while you are at it might as well check that to. wow new rotors wonder if you replaced the pads to

We figured it out.. the cable that tells the car what gear its in was slightly off, so even thought my shifter said "PARK" the car thought it wasn't.
