Does anyone know wut is the stock PSI on a GST??

Dose anyone know what the stock turbo is pushing?? PSI? and is there anyone u can turn it up with a boost controll. now dose that mean ur HP and TOQ. will go up a lil bc the stock turbo can handle more boost?? or is it runing it max boost ??

9-13 psi. HP/Tq will go up with more boost.

thanks and if i have another question, They have this thing called i forget whats the name of it it does ur 0-60 max hp and max toq and1/4 and other stuff they are selling it for about 199.99 does this really work or naw??

your stock boost level depends on the year of your car.i would reccomend leaving your boost level right where it is until you learn more about your car and how a turbo system works.VFAQ.com and this page are a good place to start.

Those will give a ball park figure, but the best way is to take it to the track.

Duh wow i need some sleep thanks so befor i get a boost controll i'm gonna get a boost 2 see wut its runing but wut is the max i can turn it up with out leaking or wut not?

the stock fuel system will stop at 16psi from what i have read. Do all maintenance and buy some gauges (boost,a\f..etc) before considering turning up the boost

Stock boost is 14.5 psi.

stock boost is not 14 PSI it is usually 9-10 maybe 11 but the stock bov is restricted and leaks at 11 PSI

I'm all stock and I just installed a boost gauge and my 95 tsi awd hits 11 psi max.

Hits it pretty quick tho..

11-12psi max on all 95+ turbo dsm's in stock form.

get a K&N intake filter kit(ebay, 50 bucks), then do a nice 3" catback exhaust, and get a Aftermarked BOV, the stock one leaks at 11psi, thus why it wont go over 11psi no matter what. then get a boost gauge and see what you are really running, should be around 15ish. then you can get a boost controller and up it a few psi, no more than 18psi on stock fuel trim. besides, any more than that the stock turbo doesnt like.
