Very similar to my color check my gallery to see. Mine was first painted silver then tinted orange it was Sikkens paint it didnt have a name it was a number that I cant recall. It was from Sikkens "special effects color book".

Is anyone friends with the owner of the car in the link i put on my first post?

Eye-gouge Orange. OMG

It's very tough to determine a color from a photograph, and the more so on a computer monitor. The slightest variation in the video card's gamma setting might make that attractive on another system (although I have my doubts).

Hit up a good-sized automotive paint shop and go through their catalogs. And if the counter man's sharp enough, he may know about the nuances that can make or break a paint color on a given car. Look at how different yellows with slight tint changes can make a huge difference.

And flaked orange may be turning into the yellow of this era.

I beleive the color is called Orange citrus solar, it also comes in lime citrus solar.

I got a similar orange color on my eclipse, (check my gallery)
been trying to find out the name of it for a while but i haven't had
any luck...........if anyone knows it, let me know what it is......

Mines HOK pearl orange In real life it has a blueish pearl look to it in the sun pics do it no justics. The paint has a ton of metallic in it as well.

no kiding, I think It is called some "computer monitor's interpretation of orange" and is made by Windows.

GO to a paint shop and find a paint color you like by looking thru the samples in the sun and shade.
