Does 90-94 Trannys fit in 95-99 Eclipse???

Just bought a 1g tranny from a friend for 250. He said it would bolt up to a 95-99. Does it????????????

it will bolt up to the motor but there is no place for the mounts to bolt onto the tranny for it to drop into the 95. a 2g tranny has three mounts on it, a 1g dont unless its like a evo 3 or something and then it will( not like it should but it will) but it will tear up your rear end unless you have the matching evo 3 rear end which is almost impossible to find...

so no it wont work
