1G Does $70 ebay downpipe actually fit

There is a bunch on there. All of them including the srs and megan brand say 89-94 awd

I have an el-cheapo eBay downpipe on my Talon. It's tight by the transfer case, but fits well and has been on there for 3+ years.

I bought an eBay downpipe for my 90 and it wasn't even close to fitting I had to send it back I got the Megan downpipe instead fits perfectly.

You would spend the same amount if not more getting one made versus the Megan. Which you can get from one of the supporting vendors. I would either make one or get the Megan not have a local muffler shop attempt to make one. At least the ones around me don't even have 2 bolt flanges and cannot weld for shit anyway.

Well I have a reputable shop I can deal with but yes your correct.... But why not have a good shop make one vs assuming the eBay shops attempt is nothing less then quality? You get what you pay for. Just my opinion... Good luck in your decision.

I found my 1g busher racing dowpipe in the classifieds on here. Thing is brand new and got a sick deal, so you just gotta look there out there. I found mine hidin with a part out and got for $100.

I got a full 2g FWD off ebay. It has held up amazingly. Having one made? Yea, if you can find a shop that won't charge a ton it's a good deal. I couldn't. ANywhere around here when i needed an exhaust. Think i paid about 200 shipped. No cat. Starts 2.5" ID at the o2 housing and flares to 3" right at the flex section. Then 3" the rest of the way.
Mine fit very well. Even the hangers, no problem

The megan racing down pipe is just that. A downpipe. You buy a cat to go between the down pipe and the cat back exhaust. Or a high flow cat or a test pipe. Whatever you prefer.

Extreame psi sells the down pipe a test pipe and the cat back system bolt on affair cheapest bolt on exhaust ive seen that fits well and sounds great. Its actually probably the best bang for youre buck. If you are patient you may even find one in the classifieds

The Megan dp on a 1g does not eliminate the cat only on a 2g it does. Nicholas is correct

I actually had a 2g awd dp that i cut and welded a new flange to use a cat on my 1g. XD. I dont recommend that but i got the down pipe for free so it was a no brainer.

Ive been waiting since december.. i bought one for cheap from some one but the flex was a rusty POS... so i got rid of it with my other 1g shell.

I need one eventually but mainly need to fix my o2 sensor issue and its either a bunged downpipe or try a 2g o2 which may or may not fix the problem.

They sell a kit where you can put the o2 bung in the megan down pipe.
