does 1g airbox fit on 2g

Hi I was wondering if a stock airbox from a 1g turbo model will fit on the 2g stock maf without any adapters.

I am looking for a 2g airbox and It is really hard to find one . I may need to get them from the dealer worst case scenario.

Get this from k&n 57-5504-1 - K&N 57 Series FIPK, Performance Intake Kit

I have it cost like $150 and turbo spool sounds louder and better throttle response

If you buy a brand new oem one your gonna be paying more than $150

My insurance company will not allow that, but also another question will the 97-98 talons air box's fit on the 95-96 ones no problem?

The 1g won't work, any airbox from a 2g turbo will fit.

OH god your the guy trying to return your car to stock god man change insurance companies or atleast put all the parts back on once your insured

Did you even try talking with the other Canadian members about their insurance and issues? It's a bit odd that you have to be stock. Why go with them anyway witha ll of this trouble. If you ever get into an accident or need to make a claim, you better be all stock or you will be fubared.

No I never talked to other people, but it is fine, I am not going to be doing any mods anyways for now.
