I am looking for something i can spray on a Manifold, turbine housing, ect,

The walmart ceramic high heat crap just wont cut it.

any ideas?

You want VHT Hi Temp paint. It's about $9.00 per can at your local AutoZone, but it works like a charm. Follow the recommended heating and cooling cycles if you're going to cure the paint with the manifold on the car. The black eventually turns a charcoal grey from the heat, but after it does, you can always shoot it with some 1600 degree off the shelf brand and it will restore the original dark black finish and hold up nicely.

Check my gallery to see how it looks on a manifold.

I can't agree with you more. For the price of the VHT Hi Temp Paint, you cant get any better. I use the black and its done its job for quite a while now. I just recently took my manifold off again, and i will be shooting it once more just to bring the fadded color back to original. This is great stuff.

Plus i love the look of dull colors. :thumb:

Any input of how a bright silver coating would look. I want it to look chrome, but obviously that won't happen, so its either silver or black.

They have the VHT Hi Temp paint in a chrome silver color as well. As long as you follow the instructions exactly it will stick fine, I had to do mine a second time but after that it turned out fine. Here's a pic for you. John

Thanks a lot, I am getting a Tubular manifold with some rust, and I plan to bust the rust off it and give it a coating of that stuff, Thanks a Lot.

Wow, that looks really good andy. Did you prep the manifold at all or did you just spray right onto the rust?
