So i melted a spark plug went and changed the oil to get any small peice out and was like hey im going to seafoam its been awhile and i need new plugs anywase. Started to and realized i just changed my oil and stopped i used like 1/9 of a can maybe. I understand the dangers of carbon deposits getting in oil, but does anyone really think its needed? I hate to do another change an hour after i just put syntec, lucas stab, and a new filter on? Whats your thoughts.

Ahh here is where my advanced lube knowledge will finally help... As a Victory lane "professionally Trained" (joking) lube tech , if it vere my car and i already poured in 1/9 of the can id just pour the rest in and run it and change the oil... just to know 100% sure it wasnt gonna hurt anything

Umm

1. dont put oil additives in the car

2. It's a good idea to put the rest of the seafoam in the crankcase then let it run for 10 mins then drain and refill.

3. How in the hell did you melt a plug down?

are you running a crap load of boost with no fuel mods and ran it real long?

If I melted a plug down a compression check is in order.

1. Im not getting into the argument about lucas and other oil additives
2. the point is not that i dont want to spend 20 dollars? This would be the third oil change in two weeks and at 45 dollars a pop 150 is alot more than 20 especially for a few carbon deposits.
3. I melted the plug at the track running 21 pounds on a n evo 3 and blew the gasket between the turbo and exhaust mani so i was tuning on the track but obviously that made my tune way off and i didnt know it was leaking there.
4. Of course the first the thing i did was a compression check.
