just bought not installed yet:
Magnus Manifold w/ velocity stacks, Clutch Net 2600lb plate and
6puck clutch, and aeromative fuel pressure regulator with ss lines and gauge

When i went to the track last year was having phantom knock issues (still ran 13.1)so i got the new knock sensor and colder plugs (ngk bpr7es, which i will be putting in when i put in the new clutch, manifold and pressure regulator)

i just read yesterday that my issue with tunning my car could be that i did not have a fuel pressure regulator. i have not been able to get a stable tune (been using egt, wideband and jumptronix voltmeter for o2 voltage) . do yall have any other suggestions. when i was logging it i had 0-1 points of knock until 4700 rpms then it just spiked phantom knock and pulled timing out. i have checked and i have no boost leaks. i will be putting all those parts on sometime in the near future so i figured if there was something else i could do that could fix the problem i would do it at the same time i had everything else pulled. i appreciate yalls time.

thanks again
chad

You've got to get a FPR on there. It does explain your inability to tune. Your flow rates keep fluctuating with your pressure since the stock FPR can't handle the 255. I'm not saying it will solve all your problems for certain, but it will help.

Yea see thats exactly what i was thinking when i was reading posts yesterday. Its like one day wow the car runs great then the next its like i have to tune all over again. Kinda gets annoying after awhile.
