Do I need a new MAF?

okay, so I thought maybe I should post this in a section about ECMlink, but it wouldn't let me post there anyway.

I'm not getting any airflow reading period when I hook my laptop up and log it with ECMlink. I've attached an idle log for reference.

Could anything else be causing this issue other than the MAF?

Is the MAF plugged in?

Did you happen to notice the 2 CELs you have on. One is for the MAF.

Also, your TPS is set wrong, you want a value of 0.63v not 0.67v at 0% throttle and your show 1% throttle at idle.

It's plugged in. I cleaned it up and everything. the old turbo blew and got oil into it and everything else it seems like when it happened and now that I have ecmlink, I've noticed that I don't have a reading. I'm not sure why it's at 1% throttle at idle, I'll go and figure out how to adjust the tpsvolts here in a minute.

On a side note, the MAF was wired up to a SAFC before, but my mechanic re-wired it back into the ECU. Is there an easy way for me, not very mechanical/technical person to easily check to see if he wired it back up correctly? I'm trying to rule out all posibilities as I'm anxious to learn how to use ecmlink and get my new setup up and running good.

Oil in the MAS most likely ruined it but you could try mass air sensor cleaner.. Try getting some pictures of the re wire showing the connections. Without seeing it I would have no idea at all.

Anxious? Why are you nervous to learn about ECMLink?

anxious, not nervous. Excited more than anything. I want to do it myself, and I've been all over the ecmlink forums reading about it. I know a 16g with 650s isn't going to be the fastest thing in the world but I like the idea of being able to tune it with my laptop and learn more about my car in the process.

Now, I just took the panels off the side of the console since my last post, I'll take some pics, but just curious, this may sound like a n00b question, but I've played with my logs in ecmlink, how do you see what is throwing the CELs from it?

I've went through the ECU config(log) tab, and the Direc Access (log) tab, or button or whatever you call it, and looked through all the information looking for something related to CEL and can't find it.

CELs are shown on the DTC tab.

Thanks for the english lesson. (sarcasm)

but on a serious note, I'm on ecmlink now, and I can't find DTC. I have V3 lite, would that mean I may not have that feature?

Edit: I was looking in the wrong place found it now. thanks. I'll go out to the car and take pics of the wiring in a few.

Okay, I've attached 4 pics of the wires and the harness that USED to be hooked into the SAFC.

I found this:2g DSM ECU Pinout

so, by looking at that pinout chart, I dont' see a MAF sensor, but I do see a volume air flow sensor (pin 90), should I check pin 90, or is there something else on there I should check?

I know the pics are kind of crappy i did my best but it's hard to take a good one down there.

EDIT

Here is the pic of Pin 90 on the bottom.

It appears to be a reddish brown wire, and is spliced a few inches from the ECU, into a grey wire going to the SAFC that no longer is hooked up to anything, and then back with a reddish brown matching wire leading into a mass of other wires headed in front of the ECU.

So, if I'm right, then this is hooked back up to where it's supposed to be isnt' it?
