The other week when a friend and I were pulling out my motor coolant was spilled in my tranny via speed sensor opening thanks to my friend being careless :ohdamn:. What is the proper way to drain/flush this out? Is this going to cause me any trouble down the road like internals corroding?

What is the best thing to do in this situation? I would like to get my tranny rebuilt, as it's got 150k on it. But it shifted fine and it's not in the budget right now.

i would say the fluid is ruined from the water. just drain the fluid out and flush some more through the speedo hole before you close up the drain to try to move the water. there will still be some left and the only way you'll get it out is to take the trans off and take it apart.

Damn that's what I was thinking. The tranny fluid was drained prior to the coolant spilling in.
