disconnected fuel line.....wont go back on...

well boys, coming from the one who originally posted this thread.....i got it back on, just a little turning did the trick, i was just to pissed earlier to even realize how easy it was......so for the record, from the top works as well. Thanks guys for all the posts.

On both my 2g's the top fitting DOES NOT swivel. The bottom fitting does.

What you need to do is use a vise grip on the lower fitting and get that off. Then screw the hose onto the fuel pump assembly (top fitting), then get back underneath and tighten the lower fitting that DOES swivel.

However you may want to buy a new line now that you have twisted it all up, you dont want that leaking and making you lose fuel pressure.

thanks, but there was no other way....bottom line was was stripped out. As for the line, doesnt leak a drop. Thanks

flare wrench??? not sure wht that is....i tried vice grips on it, not a budge....whats a flare wrench

hahah, no wonder why. do a search man for them and youll see a pic. i believe i used a 19 mm flare nut wrench and a 21mm flare nut wrench for the other fitting

17mm and 14mm
