Hey, I have a 91 Talon TSi. For some reason my anti-freeze has been disappearing. I don't really know where it is going. There never seems to be any on the ground and the last time I did an oil change there wasn't any in the oil. I have also been having A LOT of knock. The only wierd thing is that I get knock anytime, any temperature, and any RPM. It's wierd. It doesn't even matter if I just turned the car on and its nowhere near operating temp. Also I have temps around 204 and 206. I'm not sure if that is high or not. I don't get why I have all of this knock even when I roll away from a red light. The other weird thing is that at WOT there usually isn't any knock. One last thing is that my clutch is slipping, but I don't think that it has anyting to do with it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Could be phantom knock but maybe your knock sensor is bad. Coolant can be disappearing in small amount through the headgasket. See if there are bubbles in your coolant with the car partially warmed up and the radiator cap off. Easiest way to check to headgasket.

Must be a headgasket leak for the disappearing coolant. Is your coolant overflow tank completely filled to the top?

It sounds like a head gasket to me. Mine is doing this exact same thing right now. I did a carbon test at the shop I work at and sure enough its blown. I think you can get the carbon tester kits at most auto parts stores too. If you know anybody who works in a garage you can ask them to do it for you also. It's a pretty simple test for a shop to do. They just put a probe in your thermostat housing to see if there are any traces of exhaust gases.
