disable auto lock?

Is there a way to get rid of the auto lock on a 92 tsi?

i beleive you have to take the key and put it in the door and lock it to the right manually then unlock with the remote. i disabled mine doing some system like that i read in my manual. it has to do with using the key in the door and then using the remote.

i dont have a remote... i really need to order it.
