Today I upgraded the quick pull door hinges I made with the quick pull aluminum door hinges that FTY racing sells. My old door hinges are shown below on the right. In these I cut out the center pin and replaced it with a quick pull pin from McMaster-Carr. They did allow me to take both doors (carbon kevlar with lexan) off my car as a single person but to be honest they were a pain in the ass due to the lack of being able to easily get the pins in and out and the awkwardness of trying to balance the door, so it was really a two person job and with two people it was a quick pull.

The FTY racing hinges are shown in the above on the left and they bolt in place of the stock hinges and are more a purpose built "pro-mod style" with a pin mount and an arm that goes over a part of the hinge to keep the door part on the pin when the door is closed. There is a cutout on this arm that allows it in the half open position for the door part of the hinge to clear the body part of the hinge and you can easily take the door off then. They fit up great, real high quality, and helped save me ~2.2 pounds over the stock hinges as they are made out of aluminum, LOL.

Pics of the hinges installed.

Today I finished up my driver side door mounting in my trailer. The frame I made is using 1” x 1” aluminum angle iron with 1/4” wall thickness. I used some c-channel to replicate the chassis side brackets and the door latch clicks onto the old hatch latch loop (i think thats what that is). Mounts just as easily as it does on the car. I was hoping it would be a little more stiff, so maybe i would use 1.5” leg angle iron with a thicker wall in the future but considering my doors weigh about 17 pounds a piece I’m not that worried about it.
